This plan represents a classic end-to-end layout arrangement on a standard sheet of 8x4. The layout is split into upper and lower levels, with a station on each layer. Each of the stations is provided with a run-around loop, allowing the operator to run branch line trains between each terminus. A small loco servicing depot is provided on the upper level, which could be expanded with goods facilities if required.
