This one really is action packed, with HSTs flying round this busy layout and stopping at the junction station - cut down to one platform in this plan but easily extended if you have more width. A single infrastructure siding allows for the occasional freight train, but this is really about the express trains. Compromises on the track layout mean that DCC is best suited to this plan, allowing up to four trains to sit on the layout at any one time, with two running at once. The train on the outer track can run undisturbed whilst secondary expresses and freight trains alternate on the three inner loops.
