6x2 Island Terminus

Minimum radius = 2nd radius

This terminus station has an island platform, not dissimilar to Kyle-of-Lochalsh station in the Highlands. The layout could be extended if desired from the left hand edge, possibly to a longer running line or continuous loop. However, as drawn, the layout provides an excellent opportunity for the station pilot loco to shuffle wagons up and down in preparation for outbound trains. A passing loop provides flexibility in operations, and a Hornby Pug (or Terrier / 14XX Tank if placing the layout in a Southern or Western context) would provide motive power.
