Designed as the next level up from a train set, this layout allows passenger services, operating from the terminating siding (bottom right), to run round the layout in an anti-clockwise direction. When the train has stopped in the through platform, a loco change can be performed from the loco depot (centre). Alternatively, the depot could be used as a freight facility and passenger trains would alternate with goods services.
