This plan gives you the opportunity to run several of Hornby’s new releases alongside each other – perhaps by stretching the timeframe a little! The location is Sandling, close to the Eurotunnel terminal near Folkestone, with HS1 running alongside the suburban railway. Sandling station sits on the inner set of loops, and with no shunting this layout is clearly one for those who enjoy watching the trains go by.  

 

A road over-bridge or tunnel provides a scenic break between the scenically-developed top half, and fiddleyard at the bottom. To see the prototype (to help illustrate how to fill all that space!) see the image at the bottom.
